The Los Angeles Diaper Bank was launched yesterday, at “A Wedding for All,” a musical variety show presented by Arts for Equality, held at the Hollywood Lutheran Church to raise money for Equality Network’s efforts in repealing Proposition 8.

Featuring Brooke Wilkes, and performances by Todd Schroeder, Linda Fitak, Jon Nelson, Eduardo Welter, Salina Is Land, Jessica Burks, Jae-Wan, Sarah Bear, Jonalyn Habil, Adam Dusewicz, The Moods, and Nellie Bly, the event took place from 5pm to 8pm.

Those who attended the event and brought a package of diapers for the fledgling Los Angeles Diaper Bank were given free entry. Over a dozen packages of diapers were collected to launch the diaper bank, while $400 was raised for Equality Network.
